Hours Required:  24 hours biennially

Line Specific Requirements:  At least 18 hours must be in license held.  If LH/PC licensed, any course is allowed

     Ethics:  3 hours - Producers must complete three hours in Ethics as part of the total requirement.  Excess Ethics will not count as credit to fulfill the                required
     18 hours in line specific courses

     Annuities:  4 hours - Producers must complete a one-time 4 hour annuity training course (NAIC) prior to selling, soliciting or negotiating any annuity 
     p
roducts.

     Long Term Care:  16/5 hours - Producers must complete 16 hours total LTC training; 8 hours in Traditional LTC (LTCG), and 8 hours in Partnership LTC 
     (LTCP).  A 5 hour refresher must be completed every 2 years. 

     Flood:  3 hours Property and Casualty producers who sell flood insurance must complete the one-time 3 hour training course on the NFIP Flood Insurance

    Claims-Made Policies:  2 hours education is required one time  for producers selling claims made policies

     Homeowners:  3 hours effective Jan 1, 2014 is required bi-annually for all producers with a property or personal lines line of authority to be completed in           HO CE, Legislation: HB-13-1225


Education Methods:   Classroom (including live Webinars);  Self-Study and On-line require an exam monitored by a disinterested third party.

Compliance Renewal Date:  License renews the last day of the producer's birth month, biennially

Carryover Hours:  Up to 12 hours may be carried forward to the next renewal period if completed within 120 days prior to the compliance deadline.

Course Repetition:  Courses may not re repeated more than once in a 2 year period.  Completion dates must be at least 24 months apart.

Reporting Method:  CE credits are reported to Sircon, www.sircon.com following the live webinars each weekday.

Exemptions to CE Requirements:  Newly licensed producers are exempt for the first compliance period.  CE training will be required if selling lines requiring special training listed above.

     Equity Index Annuities and Index Life Insurance:  Producers must complete a one time course on Index Products prior to selling or advising any Index
     product 

     Long Term Care:  8/4  Producers must complete 8 hours of LTC prior to selling any LTC product, and then 4 hours of ongoing LTC every three years

     Flood:  3 hours must be completed one time as part of the NFIP Flood Insurance training prior to selling flood insurance

Education Method:  Classroom (including live Webinars); Self-Study and On-line require an exam monitored by a disinterested third party

Compliance Renewal Date:  License renews the last day of the producers birth month triennially

Carryover Hours:  Not allowed

Reporting Method:  Credits are reported to State Based Systems following the webinars each day

Exemptions to CE Requirements:  Producers who are on extended active duty with the US Armed Forces
                                                           Individuals licensed for credit insurance or surety insurance only
                                                           Attorneys licensed to sell insurance may be exempted upon submission of proof of completed CLE
